as a fully qualified hairdresser of 8 years i have used them plenty of times along with lots of other top brand names and trust me- they are no better! are you all pre-programmed to BELIEVE they are better because they are endorsed by celebrities who are hired by the company to SAY they are great???

i am also a fully qualified hairdresser of 8years and i have got to say i do think ghd are the best. i have tested over 40 different straighteners (as manufacturers have sent them for us to test) and very few have even come close to them. i love my ghd's i couldnt live without them can't wait for the cordless to come out.

In my experience, from using my friends current non-GHD ones, they are still superior... That's just from what Ive found! My days of frizz have long gone which is why im such a fan!

i have to say i am mixed race so my hair is very unmanageable, when i was younger i tried all straighteners, normal, steam, everything when i went to an afro salon the used the GHDs and for the 1st time ever they worked like magic!
