Black on top %26amp; red on bottom, and cut the black a little shorter so you can see just like the bottom of the red. So cute!

I'm not big on dyed-black hair period, but if you insist on doing this look, I'd suggest the Tyra look with black on bottom.

the tyra looks w/out the black, but add some blonde hilights.

Well personally i think you should try black hair (any length) with maybe short layers.

and have different shades of red highlights.

The different length layers will help show the different shades of red.

And the more amount of highlights gives the illusion on red hair with low lights.
